Microsoft's New Multiple-Browser Tester
Microsoft has recently announced a new product called Expression Web SuperPreview, which allows developers to view web pages in any browser installed on their system, and in the various IE versions, all from the same interface. The product is a genuine innovation - a tool for rendering by superimposing a browser on another for comparison (referred to as "onion skin"). There are also support HTML and other debugging tools for web developers. A beta version is available for download. However, the current has only built for IE - it will compare the rendering in IE6 or IE7 or IE8 with, it is installed. An internal construction shows Firefox and Safari on Windows too. The final product will appear in the context of MS Expression Web Studio 3, which will be published later this year. (It will not be available in the Expression suite Mac.)
